Asystent Collection

Asystent for Comforty

a collection of side tables and consoles complementing the Grid sofa system

Asystent is a collection of lightweight side tables and consoles designed to complement the modular Grid sofa system. Their function is rooted in everyday life — they accompany the essential gestures that take place around the sofa: setting down a book, placing a lamp, working on a laptop, reaching for a cup.

The pieces are built from steel profiles and laser-cut sheet metal, whose soft curves and subtle undercuts bring warmth and variation — a soft minimalism I seek in my projects. The powder-coated bases act as a counterpoint to the warm, veneered tops and the solid, upholstered volumes. The legs taper gently toward the floor, where they meet it with a delicate undercut. Curves and transitions introduce softness that balances technological precision. Within these details lies the character — a lightness of form that doesn’t impose itself, yet remains distinct.

Asymmetry and varied proportions allow the user to adapt the tables to their current needs. They can move along and around the sofa — serving as a place for a cup or a book, or becoming a subtle termination to the sofa’s line. The consoles help organize the space behind the sofa, structure the landscape of its back and gaps, and enrich the Grid system with additional functions.

Asystent doesn’t dominate. It accompanies. A quiet helper and a gentle accent that organizes space, complements the rhythm, and completes the form.
